God’s Call

God’s Call

In so many accounts of the Bible regarding God’s call, who so ever God call’s, He foots the bills and expenses of that man. He shows them proof and a guarantee that he is the one true God. If you say you have been called by God, you might be right but one thing is for sure. Just like it is written that many are called but few are chosen. A man who is chosen by God must see the signs and wonders of God. He doesn’t see the usual testimonies of God’s grace or mercy.

The Call of God in Moses’ Life

Just like in the case of Moses, God gave Moses a guarantee that he is with him by showing him proof. Moses embarked on the journey knowing fully well that God is with him and not just by his faith in God. One could have the passion to serve God but that those not mean that you have been set to be a leader in the body of Christ. It those not mean that you should open a church. Ask your self just one question which is “Has God proven Himself to you by signs or wonders?” Because things might just be more difficult for you.

The Story of Jonah (The Call of God)

The story of Jonah clearly proves that God will never send you on a journey and leave all the expenses on you. Jonah was swallowed by a whale and was given free transportation to Nineveh and it is written that God took care of him throughout the whole time. The signs and wonders of God were demonstrated. Jonah continued with God not only in faith but in confidence and assurance. Jonah 1:1-2, Jonah 1:17, Jonah 4:6(GNV)

The First Encounter of Peter with Jesus.

The very first encounter peter had with Jesus was that Peter and his brother have been fishing all day until nightfall but were unable to catch fishes. The next morning when Jesus approached Peter and his brother, he asked them if they have caught any fish. And they answered no. Jesus told them to cast their net at a particular spot and when they did, they were overwhelmed because it was too much fish for them to pull. Peter and his brother continued with Jesus in confidence and not just in faith. John 21:3-7, Matthew 4:19(GNV)

Conclusion the Call of God.

For those who are called and chosen by God, they walk in the glory of God and their fates’ are ordered by God, meaning their lives plays the way God wants it to be. Romans 8:28(GNV) Their authority is absolute, their prophecy is 100% and they don’t pray hard to cast away evil spirit or to break any evil foundation. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Whether old or new testament, his ways are still the same.  See scripture below;

Romans 8:29-30(GNV)

[29] Those whom God had already chosen he also set apart to become like his Son, so that the Son would be the eldest brother in a large family.

[30] And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.
