Understanding how to pray is very important, praying loud is it wrong or right? In this present dispensation, a lot of people’s understanding of prayers is, violence takes it by force! Did Jesus say we should pray like wounded Loins! The only time Jesus prayed with a loud voice was in the event of waking the dead (LAZARUS). That was because the debt has not yet been paid by Jesus and Lazarus was far away in the dark. Not when he was rebuking the devil or in other situations.

Praying Loud Wrong Or Right

Praying Loud Wrong Or Right?

In this generation, a lot of people are under the conclusion of whether praying loud is wrong or right? The bible never said anything about God answering people who are louder in their prayers than people who actually pray by faith in silent. But one thing is for sure. Hebrews 11:6 KJV: It is written; without faith no man can please God.

Faith in God Is All We Need (Ephesians 6:12-16)KJV

12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Considering Praying Loud Wrong Or Right?

Shouting those not necessarily means that your prayers are answered or you have defeated the devil. Concentrate on your spiritual fire and not the loudness of your voice. Be more active in the spirit and not the flesh, only then you can defeat the devil. Over the years a lot of Christians have been misled by some bible teachers. That they most shout on top of their voices in order to defeat the devil. That is just a carnal way of praying. Jesus said in (Luke 17:6) If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. You can as well read Matthew 17:20.

I consider shouting and praying to be a complete physical satisfaction that indeed you have prayed. In all the lessons of our Savior, he anchored all his teaching to faith and not aggressiveness. Some teachers will even say pray like a wounded lion. It is also written For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: The weapon of our warfare is not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of stronghold. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4) You don’t need to shout at God in order to defeat the devil.

Teachings That Promote Praying Loud

Some of the preachings of this generation that encourages loud prayers are; (Matthew 11:12) And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

The Bible was not talking about physical violence but spiritual. The physical and the spiritual are two opposite pools completely. If you apply the physical to the spiritual, you will get no results. If you also apply the spiritual to the physical, you will equally get no result. For example, it is written that the giver never lacks. That is a spiritual principle. You can only apply it when it comes to sacrifice or else you will lack.

The physical mentality is givers always lack while those who save never lack example is the bank. They will never give you anything for free or else they will fall out of business. In conclusion, John the Baptist was supposed to rebuke the situation through his authority in Christ Jesus. And not fight or shout and be aggressive because he has all it takes to just speak the word and God will do the rest. One of the keywords of Jesus’s teachings in the bible was faith.

Faith Come With Awareness

Have you seen a man who is holding a gun facing his enemy and still shouting Die! Die!! Die!!!? For me it is meaningless. All you need to do is pull the trigger and stop wasting your energy. This is similar to that of the present Christian pattern of prayer. The authority (GUN) has been given to you to overcome the devil. Just speak the word through your inner self and without fear, He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.

Revelation 12:10-11.

11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death. Faith is your weapon and not your voice. You will command the devil in the name of Jesus and you will overcome him by His blood.

The simple truth is; Christians should work on their faith. Only with faith you can move the world and overcome all principalities. It is God that gives knowledge and above all understanding. Shalom!
