Why Does God Allow Bad Things to Happen to Good People?
Everything on earth and how they play is been ordered by God. The fate of a man’s life is in the hands of God. Just like in the case of a carpenter, the shape of the furniture is in the hands of the manufacturer. Although with God the case is slightly different because each man has a role to play in choice and decision making. God is totally absent in our decision. That is why each man is countable for his own decision and not God.
The reason why each man will be judged is that at a point we have the choice to make better decisions but we decided to make the wrong choice. If you think God’s WILL influence the Will of man, then why would God judges man for his mistakes? Man is in charge of his own Will at a percentage of 99.7% except in some rear occasions like that of King Pharaoh and the biblical saying “ the hearts of kings are in the hands of God”
- The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Considering The Story Of Job | JOB:1…(KJV)
The job was said to be a man who’s ways were right with God but yet He was faced with greater challenges than any other in the bible. The story of Job is to teach us that the devil is not after to accuse the sinners but the righteous.
Also, there are always greater temptations and trials awaiting good, better and righteous people in other to test their humility with God. If you always do the right things, please don’t be surprised to see evil knocking at your door always.
Considering The Story Of Joseph | Genesis 39-40 (KJV)
The bible clearly wrote about Joseph as a man with a very good heart. He was an obedient child to the father and was loved above all his brothers. He was the finest servant to his master Potiphar. What happened to him as a man with a good heart? He was thrown into prison for doing the right thing. The story of Joseph is also teaching about how bad things happen to good people.
The story of Job and Joseph is all about the trials of good people. They were faced with very tough situations but yet they persevere and had faith in God. The outcome of their results was gloriously great and mind-blowing.
You never can tell the test or trails God will put you through as a good man. Trust the Bible (the word of God) if you are a good man who thinks he will be great someday. Always expect your own tribulations ahead of you. The tribulations will either make you or destroy you, depending on how well you pass the test God will place before you.
May God bless this Understanding in Our lives. Shalom!
